Windowmate Bangor is recruiting for a Branch Manager.

Branch Manager Position

Windowmate (NI) are a one-stop-shop for all your uPVC needs. We supply windows, doors, conservatories, roofline, trims and accessories to a wide customer base including homeowners, trade fitters and small builders.  We pride ourselves on supplying only the highest quality windows and doors on the market. Key Responsibilities

  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the Windowmate (NI) branch in Bangor, County Down, including responsibility for both financial transactions and health and safety.

  2. They will be responsible to deliver sales for the branch in line with budget and KPI’s.

  3. They will be self-motivated and capable of working independently using their own initiative.

  4. They will be responsible for managing and scheduling the fitting teams.

  5. They will be required to control and process enquiries, quotations and orders from customers both by telephone and face to face contact. 

  6. Additionally the role requires receiving customer payment, administering supplier invoices, passing to accounts department and stock take duties at month end and year end.

 

Essential Criteria:

  1. At least 5 years’ experience working within the window industry.

  2. 3 years’ proven track record of retail and trade sales.

  3. Experience of surveying and measuring for installations.

  4. Competent in IT.

  5. Flexible, hardworking and able to work on your own initiative.

  6. Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written.

  7. A full, clean driving licence.

 

Desirable criteria:

  1. Experience in both the repair and installation of windows and doors.

  2. Knowledge of Business Micros software.


Please note:

The main working hours for this role are 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday. Successful applicants must be flexible with regard to working hours, as occasional working on Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings is required. Notice will be provided if any variation to working hours is required.
